You’ll Never Look At Political Slogans The Same Way After Modi’s MIGA Moment
In a stunning display of political catchphrase recycling, Indian Prime Minister Modi has joined the “great again” movement with his MIGA slogan Modi Trump partnership announcement. Just when you thought political slogans couldn’t get more derivative, world leaders have apparently started trading catchphrases like Pokémon cards.
The Great-Again-ification of Global Politics

“The real genius here is that when you combine MAGA and MIGA, you get MEGA,” explains political scientist Dr. Sarah Matthews. “At this rate, we’ll have enough variations to make a complete alphabet soup by 2026.”
A Marketing Expert’s Take
March E. Tellerman, Master of Marketing Madness at PISR, couldn’t contain his excitement: “Hot damn, this is what I call brand synergy, baby! It’s like when my mama tried to trademark ‘Make Gators Afraid Again’ after that wrestling incident. Sometimes the best ideas are just old ideas with a new accent!”
The Future of Political Branding
Maiden India, PISR’s Product Designer, offered her unique perspective: “As someone who designs products for social causes, I can tell you this trend is exactly what we needed – another reminder that creativity in politics is as dead as my last relationship with that city council member.”

At this rate, the MIGA slogan Modi Trump created might just be the beginning of a whole new era in political catchphrase innovation – or lack thereof.
